Nigeria’s Inspector General of Police Mohammed Adamu has directed the Kaduna State Commissioner of Police to investigate Rahama Sadau for allegedly defaming the Holy Prophet (SAW).

The Kano popular actress recently shared some racy pictures on her social media handles, sparking controversy and blasphemous comment on the Holy Prophet Mohammed.
Ms Sadau later issued an apology, pulled down the pictures and condemned the blasphemy.
As a result of the directive, the commissioner, Alhaji Umar Muri, invited Kannywood and Nollywood actress to present herself at his office today.
According to the report, the actress was on her way to Dubai with her mother and three younger sisters – Fatima, Aisha and Zainab.
It was reported this morning by the Voice of Freedom that Rahama was arrested by the police in Abuja while she was trying to escape from Nigeria.
Although the police had tried to arrest the actress in Abuja, it was not done because a senior police officer with the rank of commissioner had intervened, urging to let her go.
The actress, along with her mother and relatives, left Abuja and headed back home to Kaduna where Rahama will go to see the commissioner.

Mandy News gathered that Lawal Gusau sent a copy of his letter to the Sultan of Sokoto and other dignitaries.
As a result of Lawal’s complaint, the Inspector-General wrote a directive to the Kaduna State Commissioner of Police, including the complaint, and directed him to immediately investigate it.

“The Inspector-General of Police has also instructed you to keep him informed of any developments in the matter.”
