The Independent National Electoral Commission says it has cancelled elections in Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers after voting didn’t take off there these days.
The fee’s spokesperson in Rivers State, Edwin Enabor, showed the choice to PREMIUM TIMES on Saturday afternoon.
He said elections within the region would now preserve on every other date to be set by means of the fee.
“In Bonny, there was no election in any respect,” stated Mr Enabor, adding that: “the exercising there was postponed. It will hold on some other day.”
