INEC Declares APC’s Ganduje Winner of Kano Rerun Election

Kano State Governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has received the rerun election with 45,876 votes.

Declaring the outcome on Sunday, the state INEC Returning Officer, Professor B. B Shehu mentioned Ganduje of the All Progressives Congress (APC) polled 45,876 votes whereas Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf of the Peoples Democratic Social gathering (PDP) scored 10,239 votes.

Prof Shehu mentioned 28 native governments had been affected by the rerun ballot with a complete registered voters of 131,073.

He mentioned out of the figures solely 57,777 voters had been accredited, including that the whole legitimate votes through the rerun ballot stood at 56,407, rejected votes 1,100 and votes forged 57,507.
