As Nigeria’s presidential election draws to a close, citizens are growing increasingly impatient with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for failing to publish official results on their portal.
According to INEC’s results portal, there are 176,846 polling units across the country. However, despite the completion of the polling process, there are still no official results available for the presidential election. Instead, the portal only displays senatorial results.
Many Nigerians have taken to social media to express their frustration with the delay, with some questioning the transparency of the electoral process.
“The delay in releasing the presidential election results on the INEC portal is unacceptable. We need transparency in the electoral process,” said one Nigerian citizen.
As the wait continues for the official presidential election results to be published on the INEC portal, tensions are running high in Nigeria. Citizens are calling for a swift resolution to the situation and for the election results to be released as soon as possible.
