Iran Plane Crash: Two University Of Waterloo Students Among Those Killed

Two students from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada has been confirms to be among the 176 people killed when a Ukrainian passenger plane crashed minutes after takeoff from Tehran’s main airport.Boeing 737 carrying at least 170 crashes in Iran

According to the reports by 570 NEWS, two PhD students from the university, Marzieh Foroutan and Mansour Esnaashary Esfahani, were listed on the passenger manifest of the flight.

In a statement by the University of Waterloo spokesperson, Matthew Grant via an email;

“Our thoughts are with the family and friends of everyone who died in this incident and we will provide support to anybody in our University community who is affected by this tragic incident.”
