The Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP) unleashed its biggest attack on Nigerian soldiers in Borno since the splinter of Boko Haram on Thursday.
Across the report sighted by MANDY NEWS, the terrorist group stormed an army base in Doron Baga, Borno, in the far northeast of Nigeria.
While several soldiers were injured, two vehicles were reportedly burned — the deadliest attack in the month of February.
The bold attacks suggest the terrorist have been breathed life into after maintaining a low-level insurgency in Borno State over the past few months.
More details on this report later.
