DJ Arafat, an Ivorian singer with an enormous following in francophone Africa, has died after a street accident in Abidjan, the state broadcaster RTI stated on Monday.
“Dying of artist DJ Arafat… as we speak at 8am because of a street accident in a single day,” it tweeted.
In accordance with messages and photos circulating on social media, he had been driving a motorcycle and smashed right into a automotive. Critically injured, he was taken to an Abidjan hospital, the place he later died.
