Benfica have confirmed a €126 million ($143m) bid placed on 19-year-old attacker Joao Felix by Atletico Madrid, according to a document that was sighted by MandyNews.com.
If the bid is accepted, Felix would become the third-most expensive player of all time behind Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, (€180 million).
He’d just surpass Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele, who joined Barcelona for an initial €120 million and €105 million, respectively.
