The Portuguese will be introduced at a news conference soon.

With over 25 years of coaching experience, Jose spent his last season at the Venezuela national football team.
Jose replaces Gernot Rohr, who qualified the Super Eagles to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
He’ll take over after AFCON, but will be in Cameroon as an observer, and to create a relationship with interim coach Augustine Eguavoen who will return to the director role after AFCON.
