South African-born Khosi has been crowned the winner of the first-ever edition of Big Brother Titans, a reality television show that brings together housemates from Nigeria and South Africa.

After 78 days of drama, competitions, and fun, Khosi emerged victorious, beating 23 other contestants and taking home the $100,000 grand prize, a brand new car, and other benefits.

The show is a version of the Big Brother franchise that is filmed in both South Africa and Nigeria. It is called “Ziyakhala Wahala,” and the contestants live together in an isolated house.

They compete for a cash prize at the end of the show by avoiding eviction from the house, with viewers voting for their favorite housemates to stay. The series premiered on January 15, 2023, on DStv channel 198 and GOtv channel 29.

The show is hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and Lawrence Maleka, and Flutterwave, Bamboo, and Lotto Star are among the companies that pay for it. Contestants were chosen through a virtual audition that took place from October 6 to October 22, 2022. People who wanted to be on the show sent in a two-minute video explaining why they should be on it.

The final rankings for the top six contestants are as follows:

  1. Khosi (Winner)
  2. Kanaga Jr. (first runner-up)
  3. Tsatsii (second runner-up)
  4. Yvonne (fourth place)
  5. Ebubu (fifth place)
  6. Ipeleng (sixth place)

On Day 0, people moved into the Big Brother house. On Day 4, four more people moved in. They were later paired until Week 7, with each pair consisting of a male and a female from both countries.

Khosi went through six weeks of being nominated for possible eviction, two pairs of evictions, and two single evictions before making it to the final week as one of the top six housemates.

Big Brother Titans, which is put on by MultiChoice, is the start of a new era for the Big Brother franchise. It brings together contestants from two of the biggest countries in Africa to compete for the grand prize. For Khosi, winning the grand prize would change her life.
