A beautiful young lady who is a graduate of the University of Calabar has been buried today 2nd February; a day that was supposed to be her wedding day. She was buried in her wedding dress.
Mary, a fresh graduate died on 28th January 2019 in Edor, Ikom local government area of Cross River State, Nigeria. She was involved in a gruesome car accident and died instantly.
Mary who was the niece of University of Calabar Vice Chancellor, Prof. Zana Akpagu was on her way to her home town for the Traditional marriage ceremony when she lost her life.
Five days after the accident which was supposed to be her wedding turned out to be her burial day. Local media sadly recounted the devastating state the groom to be was throughout the funeral service today.
