Lagos Okada Ban: Horses New Means Of Transport In Lagos

It’s no longer a news that Nigeria’s and Africa’s largest city as well as its economic capital, Lagos banned motorcycles and tricycles which takes effect on Saturday, February 1, 2020.

The Lagos state government had on Monday, January 27, announced a ban the operation of motorcycles popularly referred to as okada and tricycles (keke napep) in six LGs and nine LCDAs.

However, It appears the people of Lagos state has gone back to the old means of transport by recruiting horses According to history, horses were one of the main means of transport to an age in which we use vehicles specifically designed to help transport them.
