You want to see the list of countries banned from entering Dubai in 2022?
Citizens of 20 African nations who want to go to Dubai are now prohibited by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from doing so.
Recall that a few days ago, MandyNews.com revealed that Nigerian people were prohibited from traveling to Dubai.
Because of this, the authorities of the nation last week rescued 542 Nigerians who were stranded in Dubai.
Reports claim that in addition to Nigeria, other African nations affected by the visa restriction, which takes immediate effect, include Congo, Liberia, Togo, and a number of others.
According to the announcement that DW Africa released, the decision’s motivation is unknown and it’s anticipated to go into effect on October 24, 2022.
- “The United Arab Emirates(UAE) has announced a visa ban on nationalities from 20 African countries seeking to visit Dubai.
- Countries affected include Ghana, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Cameroon, Nigeria, Liberia, Burundi, Republic of Guinea, Gambia, Togo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Senegal, Benin, Ivory Coast, Congo, Rwanda, Burkina Faso, Guinea Bissau, and Comoros. The ban takes immediate effect”.
Why Dubai Banned African Countries
MandyNews.com has obtained information that suggests that one of the reasons for the prohibition is that many people who enter the nation on visit visas end up overstaying their permits and working illegally without obtaining legal status.
However, this is not the first occasion that Dubai has refused entrance to nationals of African countries.
We hope that one day the leaders of the African nations would unite to build their continent.
