Man Removed from Flight for Anti-Tinubu Rant, Arrested by Security

Abuja, Nigeria (MandyNews.com) – In a highly unusual incident, a man was forcefully removed from an Ibom Air flight from Abuja to Lagos on Friday evening after creating a commotion on board.

According to eyewitnesses and the video obtained by MandyNews.com, the man was heard shouting that Bola Tinubu, the president-elect, cannot be sworn in as Nigeria’s president.

The man, who hasn’t been named, had already gotten on the plane and was sitting down when he started shouting loudly. This got the attention of other passengers. He was heard shouting, “Tinubu can’t be sworn in as president,” causing panic and confusion among other passengers.

Flight attendants immediately intervened, trying to calm the man down and restore order. When their attempts failed, they called in security personnel, who arrived on the scene promptly.

The situation quickly got worse as the man kept making noise and drawing the attention of other people on the bus. The security staff had to drag him out of the plane with force because he was still fighting them. 

During the scuffle, the man kept shouting that Obidients are watching him as he was being roughed up and also claimed to have a doctorate degree in Law. He was heard shouting that he had a problem with the outcome of the election and that Tinubu cannot be sworn in as President.

The problem caused the plane to take longer to get to its destination, and passengers were upset about the delay. The airline has not yet issued a statement regarding the incident.

Many Nigerians are shocked and can’t believe what happened. Some are even wondering if the man in question is crazy. Others have thought that the man’s strong words about the President-elect could mean that the incident was political.

People who voted for Peter Obi, the former Vice Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), have said that the man is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and is trying to use the incident as propaganda to hurt the Obidient movement.

It remains unclear at this time whether the man was a member of any political party or if he had any ulterior motives for his outburst on the plane.
