On 20 October 2020, Nigerian Army carried out massacres on #EndSARS protesters in Lekki tollgate, Lagos, the most populous city in Nigeria and the African continent, a number of people are reported killed and injured.
The Nigerian flag was desecrated with bloodstains from injured #EndSARS protesters shot by men of the country Army.
Amnesty International said; “Amnesty International has received credible but disturbing evidence of excessive use of force occasioning deaths of protesters at Lekki toll gate in Lagos”
In a viral video sighted by MandyNews, DJ Switch, a popular disc jockey, was in scenes of protesters in Lekki tollgate removing a bullet from someone’s wound and pleading for help while the broadcast was going on live on Instagram. Gunfire and sirens could be heard in videos filmed near the site.
In another video posted on WeGlobeTV, the army directed ambulance to turn back, denied access to rescue the injured protesters.
Before now, at least 20 people have been killed since the #EndSARS protests began.
