Terrorists killed Miyetti Allah Chairman in Abuja

Terrorists killed Adamu Aliyu, the chairman of the Miyyetti Allah Cattle Breeders’ Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) in Abuja’s Gwagwalada Area Council.

Adamu Aliyu, along with four other people, was killed near Daku village in the Dobi ward of the council on Thursday, according to the Daily Trust.

A MACBAN Spokesperson

Three other persons were abducted, according to Mohammed Usman, the Secretary of MACBAN, who confirmed this on Sunday. Three others with gunshot wounds were treated at the University Teaching Hospital in Gwagwalada.

According to Usman, the late MACBAN chairman was travelling back from the Izom market in Niger State in a Dyna truck with three other people when terrorists showed up out of nowhere and opened fire on the truck, killing everyone inside.

What was he saying: “They were returning from Izom market in Niger state, where they went to sell cows, until just one kilometer to Daku village when the bandits suddenly emerged from the bush and opened fire on the truck, killing the MACBAN chairman and four others,” Usman told Daily Trust.

Driving the news: He’s the first known Miyetti Allah member killed by the terrorist group. Adamu Aliyu, was the chairman of the Miyyetti Allah Cattle Breeders’ Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) in Abuja, and has spoken many times in favor of the Fulani Herdsmen.
