On November 18, Twitter was abuzz regarding a ThisDay report of a seemingly longtime associate of the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, who they claimed died at 72 and was confirmed by his wife. On the website where the viral post was posted, it was informed that Akande was also the brother-in-law of Tinubu’s wife. People started mourning the death of the medical doctor.

However, according to information obtained by Mandy News, Mueez Adegboyega Akande, who is still very much alive, is the elder brother of Dr. Kolapo Akande, who recently passed away.
