Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate, has chosen Kashim Shettima, a former governor of Borno State, as his running mate.
Tinubu himself announced and confirmed Senator Shettima’s nomination on Sunday.
He will be presented to President Muhammadu Buhari later today according to a report seen by Mandy News.
The terrible situation is that both Mr. Shettima and Tinubu are Muslims.
Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, the governor of Kaduna State, has been ridiculed by many Nigerians on social media sites because he pushed for the vice president position and even started the Muslim Muslim ticket campaign.

Nevertheless, Tinubu’s pre-primary campaign saw a significant contribution from Shettima.
He even went so far as to criticize Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
Shettima, the senatorial candidate for Borno State’s central senatorial district, served as governor of that state for two terms.
