NFF have sacked manager Gernot Rohr two days after he led them to Africa’s 2022 World Cup play-offs.
The Nigerian national football (NFF) has sacked their long-time coach Gernot Rohr after a draw with Cape Verde at the Teslim Balogun Stadium.
Super Eagles finished top of Group C despite being held 1-1 by Cape Verde on Tuesday.
The German man was appointed head coach of the Super Eagles in August 2016 and led the team to a third-place finish at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
