There are 224 COVID-19 positive cases in Nigeria. There are now 5 deaths attributed to the most populous nation in Africa, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control said.

A population of 190 million, Nigeria has recorded 224 cases of positive COVID-19 in-country, the third-highest number in the Sub-Saharan Africa after Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast.

On Sunday, April 5 Buhari led administration reported ten new cases of coronavirus; 6 in Lagos, 2 in FCT and 2 in Edo.

Nigeria has become the third-worst place in Sub-Saharan Africa for the deadly COVID-19 disease, surpassing Ghana, Cameroon and Senegal.
