Africa’s most populous country, Nigeria has recorded its first Coronavirus pandemic death as a 67-year-old man with underlying medical conditions who had returned from the UK after receiving medical treatment died in Lagos on Monday, said the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC said the deceased reported to had underlying medical conditions- multiple myeloma & diabetes & was undergoing chemotherapy.
As at 11:45 am on 23rd March, there are 35 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria. 2 have been discharged and 1 died.
