Ondo State Assembly has commenced the impeachment of the Deputy Governor, 14 members have already signed the notice of impeachment and the Speaker has directed that the Deputy governor be served with immediate effect.
The Deputy Governor has also drags the house of Assembly members to court over impeachment planned.
More updates: Nine members of the Ondo state house of assembly have dissociated themselves from the impeachment process against the deputy governor, making it impossible to attain the 18 signatories required for the two-third majority as stipulated in the constitution.
