In breaking news, Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) has emerged victorious in the presidential election at his polling unit in Anambra state. According to reports, at polling unit 19 in Agulu 2 ward of Anaocha LGA, where Obi cast his vote, the LP secured a total of 236 votes, beating out all other parties.
Interestingly, both the All Progressives Congress (APC) and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) scored zero votes at the polling unit. This is a significant blow to both parties, especially the PDP, which is the main opposition party in the country.
On the other hand, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) received three votes, while the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) secured two votes. However, seven votes were declared invalid, bringing the total number of votes cast to 248.
This result is a clear indication of the growing popularity of the Labour Party in Anambra State and may have wider implications for the outcome of the presidential election in the state. Stay tuned for further updates as the results continue to pour in.
