Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has announced that he will travel to the United Arab Emirates to pay his respects to Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who died recently.
Buhari will travel to the UAE on Thursday, his administration said in a statement.
The president is expected to return to the country on Saturday.
He will be accompanied by Amb. Zubairu Dada, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Prof. Isa Ali Pantami, Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Prof. Isa Ali Pantami, Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Mohammed Bello, and Senator Hadi Sirika, Minister of Aviation.
Maj. Gen. Mohammed Monguno (retd), the National Security Adviser, and Ambassador Ahmed Rufai Abubakar, the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency, are also part of his entourage.
