The National Association of Seadogs, also known as the Pyrates Confraternity, caused a stir with the recent release of a new song that mocks Tinubu, a prominent Nigerian politician. The song sparked a lot of controversy and generated a lot of media interest.

The Pyrates Confraternity:

The Pyrates Confraternity is a Nigerian social and cultural organization that was formed in 1952. The group is known for its philanthropic activities and focuses on promoting Nigerian culture and heritage. They have been involved in various charitable projects over the years, such as building schools and providing scholarships for underprivileged children. The group is also known for its elaborate initiation ceremonies and use of nautical terms and symbols.

Tinubu:

Tinubu is a Nigerian politician and the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC). He served as Governor of Lagos State and has been a prominent figure in Nigerian politics for many years. Tinubu is known for his political acumen and role in the formation of the APC, currently the ruling party in Nigeria and he is the 2023 presidential candidate of the party.

The Song:

The new song released by the Pyrates Confraternity mocks Tinubu for the numerous blunders he made during his presidential campaign across Nigeria’s states.

The lyrics of the song reference speeches made by Tinubu, specifically at a town hall meeting in Imo State and during his 70th birthday celebration in Kano State.

The song also makes reference to Tinubu’s speech, where he says the youths who will be recruited into the army will be fed with locally made food like garri, beans, and corn.

However, this is not the first time Pyrates Confraternity will mock Tinubu with a song; the first one was released in 2022. “Baba Wey No Well Dey Shout Emilokan”

The song was widely criticized for being disrespectful and crossing the line in terms of what is considered appropriate.

The song generated mixed reactions, with some praising it as a form of political satire and not being accepted by the masses.

Tinubu himself has not publicly commented on the song, but his supporters have been vocal in their condemnation of the song.
