Russia’s defence minister, Sergei Shoigu, has said that special operations in Donbass will continue until the set goals are achieved.
According to the General of the Army in a statement on Tuesday, while addressing the press, he said their main goal is to protect Russians.
“Get down to work in accordance with the decision of the Supreme Commander from February 24, the Russian armed forces are conducting a special military operation in order to protect the population of the Donbas hybridization, where the nation fications of Ukraine, the main thing for us is to protect the Russian Federation from the military threat created by Western countries that are trying to use the Ukrainian people to fight against of our country.
“The Russian army does not occupy Ukrainian territory take all measures to preserve the lives and safety of civilians, I emphasize that strikes are carried out only on military targets with exclusively high-precision weapons during military clashes, the Ukrainian side does not disdain to use civilians as human shields two residential buildings are located near schools and kindergartens, I want to thank the personnel for their courage and heroism, conscientiously and professionally fulfilling the assigned tasks.”
“The deployment of the armed forces of the Russian Federation will continue to conduct a special military operation until the set goals are achieved,” he said.
