The shocking announcement that Sammie Okposo, best known for his 2004 song “Naija Praise,” has passed away at the young age of 51 has left the Nigerian entertainment world in a state of shock.

Sammie Okposo, a true music producer, psalmist, and CEO of Zamar Entertainment, passed away in Lagos on Friday, November 25, according to information gathered by Mandy News.

In the time of his death, he was reportedly slumped at his city residence.

The musician, who most recently gained attention due to a cheating scandal, released his debut album Addicted in 2004.

He allegedly slumped upon waking up this morning before passing away.

Medically speaking, there are numerous conditions that might cause somebody to pass away.

It can be brought on by hypertension, heart failure, bleeding internally or externally, homological conditions such epilepsy, diabetes, hypoglasphemia, and head trauma.

The renowned musician cheated death in a horrifying vehicle accident in May of this year while driving on the third mainland bridge in Lagos, but Okposo claimed he “was saved from the hands of the devil and his cohorts.”
