Twitter’s CEO, Elon Musk, is polling his followers to determine whether or not he should stand down from his position.
Elon Musk, the founder, CEO, and chief engineer of SpaceX, as well as the owner and CEO of Twitter, Inc., declared on Monday that he will step aside from his role as Twitter CEO if the voters calls for it. Musk is also an angel investor and the CEO and chief architect of Tesla, Inc.
Along with being the president of the charitable Musk Foundation, Musk is also the founder of The Boring Company, Neuralink, and OpenAI.
People have been urging Elon Musk, the second-wealthiest person in the world with an estimated net worth of over $164 billion as of December 13, 2022, to resign as CEO of Twitter.
Elon Musk, though, advises people to use caution while making wishes.
He was clear that he would follow the results of the vote and step down if the public desired it.
