Thugs Break Into INEC Office, Set 15,000 Uncollected PVCS On Fire

The hoodlums set ablaze over 15,000 uncollected PVCs in addition to the sign in containing all of the names of registered electorate inside the vicinity.

The Resident Electoral Commissioner, Joseph Iloh, showed the development to newsmen on Sunday. According to him, the arsonists broke into the INEC’s workplace through the window.

He but said that even though the PVCs and the sign up were burnt, that the commission’s headquarters in Umuahia, the state capital, has the authentic listing of registered voters.
