Portia Odufuwa, a woman, was allegedly the one who started shooting at Dallas Love Field Airport on Monday morning, according to Texas police.
The lady is claimed to have been dropped off at the airport and then entered the terminal, according to report seen by MandyNews.com.
According to a witness who talked with Fox News, the woman was unhappy because her husband had been fired somewhere, which is why the incident happened.
The source also said that records indicate a Portia Odufuwa with the same name and age was detained close to the scene of a bank robbery in Wylie in 2019 but the accusations against her were later dismissed.
Portia Odufuwa, 37, reportedly arrived at the Love Field Airport carrying a gun and wearing all-black clothing, according to an eyewitness.
She entered a women’s lavatory, according to the police, and emerged into the ticket counter area shortly afterward, firing her gun repeatedly.
The suspect was challenged by a Dallas police officer adjacent, who allegedly shot her in the lower extremities.
Law enforcement agencies reportedly transported the suspect to a medical facility. None of the responding officers, airport staff, or travelers were reported to have suffered any additional injuries.
