A video has gone viral on social media that shows the head of Anambra lawmaker, Okechukwu Okoye, after being chopped by a suspected terrorist group in the Southeast.
He was allegedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen earlier this week, just days after Charles Soludo met with Nnamdi Kanu.
On Saturday, May 21th, his head was discovered at Chisco Park in the Amichi village, without his body.
The footage, which has been widely shared online, shows the chopped head of Mr. Okoye, who’s a representative of the Aguata II State Constituency, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s constituency.
A warning note dropped by the terrorists can be seen on the ground beside the head.

Authorities have yet to issue a statement regarding the viral footage as of the time of this writing.
