Here’s What Putin Said About Global Sanctions On Russia

(MANDYNEWS) – It took Vladimir Putin 72 hours to respond to global sanctions against Russia over the invasion of Ukraine.

The 69-year-old politician and former intelligence officer was hit with multiple sanctions from countries around the world a few hours after its invasion of Ukraine.

As the European Union, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and Taiwan all hit Russia with new injunctions, Putin, the president of the Russian federation, who has served for more than 16 years, called western countries the “empire of lies”.

Newscaster asked Putin:

• “So now I have invited you to talk about issues related to the economy and finances.”
