On Wednesday, December 7, Oritsegbubemi Oritsejafor’s supporters learned with shock that he had divorced his wife Helen Oritsejafor.
Ayo Oritsejafor and his wife Helen Oritsejafor, who are Christians, seemed to have given up on their marriage in the last month of the year. Successful companies, luxurious homes and apartments both home and abroad, expensive cars, a private jet, a love for God’s work, and lovely triplets. What else could a couple possibly need?
But in December 2022, everything came tumbling down as the couple split up over Helen’s alleged infidelity.
According to an exclusive source from Nigeria that MANDYNEWS was able to obtain from Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, who is married to Helen, has relocated from his marital house to a secure area.
According to the report, Helen Oritsejafor has been the husband’s “thorn in the flesh” based on information supplied by an insider in the Church.
Papa Ayo Oritsejafor has allegedly been physically attacked by Helen on a regular basis, according to some churchgoers who talked to the media but wished to remain anonymous.
- “She has been attacking Papa Ayo each time he came back home from Church and it’s no longer funny.
- “Papa had to move out of their matrimonial home and camped in an unknown location for fear of his life because she has made some threats too”.
A member of the church further disclosed to the news outlet that Helen temporarily stopped going to church services.
In a second disclosure made by a church member to the ENigeria, it was stated that “they have been at odds since 2020, when mama Helen left the house for the United Kingdom, before several top members went and pleaded on papa’s behalf for her to return home.”
However, Mandy News was unable to conclusively prove the claim. Meanwhile, another media-speaking source claimed that pastor Ayo had formally filed for divorce.
According to another piece of widely circulated information, they both divorced one another due to what insiders referred to as multiple marital adultery and infidelity.
The renowned pastor Oritsejafor is said to have split from his wife of 25 years due to a prolonged and acrimonious argument, according to a different source heard from.
According to a rumor circulating online, Helen has been in a deep relationship with another man for over ten years.
In a WhatsApp message sent earlier in 2022, the self-described “Bishop of Godism” from the Niger Delta, Ufuoma Bernard, allegedly said that Helen had accused her divorced husband of wanting her dead.
Ayo Oritsejafor, the pastor, wed Helen in 1997, exactly 13 months after Stella, his first wife, passed away. On November 15, 1987, they established Word of Life Church with Stella.
Stella died in March 1996 from complications related to her diabetes, and he afterwards wed Helen.
Helen gave birth to three children—Ayodele Joseph, Ayodeji, and Ayodeta—after several years of patiently awaiting the fruit of the womb.
It’s thought that he only had the triplets from his two marriages.
The first Pentecostal preacher to hold the office of president of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Ayo served in that capacity for five years.
A report on this has not yet been published by a major Nigerian media outlet, and neither the Pastor nor his wife have responded to the rumors that are currently circulating.
