A 10-year-old Lagos girl was suspended from Chrisland School after she was raped by a male classmate, MandyNews report.
The Nigerian preteen, whose identity was protected due to the nature of the case, was suspended after she was accused of taking part in a truth-or-dare game in the United Arab Emirates.
According to information gathered by MandyNews, the victim was chosen by the school to represent them in the World School Games, which were held in Dubai for three days in March 2022.
The school, which is situated in Nigeria’s largest city, was among the three schools from Nigeria which participated, and they won over 30 medals.
Upon her return from Dubai, the authorities at Chrisland School conducted a pregnancy test on her, which revealed she was pregnant.
The little girl who was said to have been a victim of rape, which led to the unwanted pregnancy, was issued a suspension letter on the 14th of April.
The letter spotted at our brother’s site, People Gazette, stated that they suspended the girl for “improper behaviour” after playing the truth-or-dare game, describing her as a “major participant.”

- “It was discovered that your daughter was involved in an improper behaviour during the recently concluded World School Games in Dubai.
- with a few of her counterparts wilfully participated in a game they called Truth or Dare’, a game which led her and a few other co-learners to carry out immoral act after the lights out instruction was given.
- In line with our core values centred on discipline, Chrisland Schools have zero tolerance for any improper behaviour and misconduct.
- A full scale investigation has been done and the parents of all the culpable learners have been duly notified with the necessary punishment meted out on the learners.
- The parents gave their full cooperation realizing the need to work with the school so that the learners can be corrected and be of expected proper behaviour henceforth.
- However, in the course of the school’s efforts to see how best we can help who was a major participant In the whole incident, every effort to inform you as her parent about the incident and ensure that this improper behaviour is permanently corrected, has proved to be futile. We cannot as a school condone such.
- Consequently, is hereby placed on indefinite suspension until you as the parents ensure that she is punished, adequately counselled and rehabilitated.
- However, if you need our assistance in any form to rehabilitate the school is willing to assist.

The girl’s parents told a socialite that she had been raped by a fellow Chrisland School student who recorded the assault and shared it on social media.
They said they took their child and lied to them that she was going for a COVID-19 test but ended up conducting a pregnancy test on her.
The video of the little girl was said to spread like a wild fire on Instagram without the knowledge of the parents, who later got the information from a family friend.

According to Oluwanishola Ogudu, the kids from Chrisland had a roll call by the teachers to monitor them & they waited until midnight to sneak into the hotel room to do what they did after the last roll call.
- “It took me a lot of thinking before dropping this comment. The way we just throw the word ‘RAPE’ around so loosely without considering how much damage it can cause.
- Firstly, as parents we need to pay close attention to our kids and what we expose them too, cos mahn it’s a crazy crazy world we live in. Secondly, I accompanied my son to represent his school at the just concluded WSG and I can say for a fact that the 10 yr old in question was DEFINITELY not raped.
- I remember vividly the ‘SHOCK’ in my son’s face when he was telling me about a video some other kid was watching, he said Mum, I couldn’t stand the video I had to excuse myself, he said the gist circulating was that the girl and her click played a game of truth or dare, of which this particular girl couldn’t stop with the mind bugging’DARES’ I couldn’t believe my ears when I learned about the nasty activities this lil kids get themselves involved in.
- To make matters worse, even when she was accosted about the video, she was owing it with her full chest, saying yeah it’s me in the video and so. it bothered me so much, I needed to see this kids I question so I’ll know how to advice my child against such kids (well he knows better) before they use their reggae to spoil my blues. God Abeg.

- if ma’am, they were in a hotel where other schools also stayed at, To avoid stories that touch like this, they made sure the boys room was on the 10th floor and the girls room 2nd floor.
- The teachers did their parade 3-5 times daily making sure they were all in their rooms. Their were over 70kids to 5-6 teachers( this teachers went through hell trying to get them together) But for you to know how badly behaved this kids were, they waited till after mid night (after the last roll call) to get their nasty acts on.
