For nominated at the Grammy Award to winning 30 awards in 2021, Wizkid has had a huge night at the African entertainment awards USA (AEAUSA).
The 31-year-old Wizkid is the artist to win the Album of the Year AEAUSA for his 2020 record Made In Lagos? Wizkid is also the only artist to pick up collaboration of the Year, which went certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) single ‘Essense’.
The top 10-winning Billboard ‘Essense’ was also named Song of the Year. Wizkid obtained Best Male Artist, Best Music Video to take his total up to five awards.
Wizkid won five awards at the 2021 AEAUSA Awards for:
- Best Collaboration — Essence
- Best Music Video — Essence
- Best Album — Made in Lagos
- Song of the Year! — Essence.
- Best Male Artiste
