Wole Soyinka Meets Sunday Igboho Behind Closed Doors In Cotonou

Noble Laureate Professor Wole Soyinka meets Sunday Igboho behind closed doors in Cotonou, Benin Republic, for the first time since his release from a Benin Republic prison on Mach 7, 2022.

Soyinka is not a frequent traveler to Nigeria’s neighboring country of Cotonou, but he is well-known for his firm stance for United Nigeria.

Recall that he was the first to kick against the formation of a Yoruba nation. He said he preferred a united Nigeria.

It’s no wonder that his visit to the Yoruba Nation Activist caught many by surprise.

Meanwhile, there was no official reason as to his visit to Sunday Igboho in Cotonou, Benin Republic, where he was joined by the duo of Wale Adeniran and Prof. Banji Akintoye.
