84 children, 12 cows rescued in Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari’s home state from deadly terrorist groups last night.

Dozens of students of an Islamic school abducted last night in Mahuta village in Katsina State’s Dandume LGA, have been rescued by the community vigilante group with support from the police after a fierce gun battle.

Report sighted by Mandy News said Twelve cows stole by the gunmen were also recovered.

Recall MandyNews had reported that some armed men on Saturday night, snatched Islamic school children returning from a Maulud Nabiyyi (Prophet Mohammad’s birthday) celebration in Unguwar Al-Kasim.

The abduction comes less than two days after the release of 530 schoolboys who were kidnapped in the same state.
