The man of God voiced the heroic claim in a now-viral video that was released on Friday night from Auchi, Edo State.
- The preacher said: “Since 2017, there are certain things that have been happening that I have been quite about. Even if you are the most careless person on earth, you will not give yourself away to so many scandals. There are things people don’t know. Even though one or two people along the line took advantage of that to just come out to say one or two things, the reason I am coming out to speak now is because they did all that and discovered that I am still moving up. They decided to make an attempt on my life.”
- “I just escaped an assassination attempt where seven people were killed. My car was attacked. They kept spraying it with bullets. My wife and kids were there. The escort car was on police. They killed the police man and the other people in the bus with us. About seven people moving in convoy were killed. People were expecting me to come out and mention their name so they would come out and deny it”
- “I won’t do that, but the truth is that you can’t kill me. My life is in the hands of God. I am a man of God, and those who are attacking me are building on what you don’t understand. You may join the Phora because you want to chase clout, but you don’t know where the fight started. There are things you don’t understand. You don’t know who is behind it.”
- “I’m alive for those who have been calling and all that, I’m well, my family is fine but I feel bad for the lives that have been taken. We are mourning but Jesus is Lord. For all those who are killed, may their soul rest in peace. And for the young men who opened fire and kept wasting people’s lives, I won’t take your life but the seed that you sow.
- You will reap it. I want Nigerians to know that a coordinated lie swallows an uncoordinated truth and that with time, the truth will come out.”
