Highlights: Argentina 3-0 Venezuela in Qatar 2022 Qualifiers

Argentina took a 3-0 lead into the second leg of their World Cup qualifier against Venezuela at the Monumental Stadium in Buenos Aires, due to goals from Gonzalo Gonzalez, Angel Di Maria, and Lionel Messi.

De Paul assisted Gonzalez N for the game’s opening goal, which came after 36 minutes of play in the first half.

The second and third goals were scored by Angel Di Maria and Lionel Messi.

Argentina took the 3-0 advantage into the second leg, which takes place on Tuesday.

The winner of that second leg will qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
