Bishop Oyedepo, who is also a respected leader in the Christian community in Nigeria, had earlier urged Nigerians to exercise their right to vote and elect leaders who would work towards the progress of the country. He had also encouraged peaceful conduct during the election process.

In his words, “I encourage all Nigerians to come out en masse to exercise their civic duty by casting their votes. We must elect leaders who have the best interest of the country at heart and who are committed to the progress and development of Nigeria. Let us also conduct ourselves peacefully and ensure that the election is free, fair, and transparent.”

The bishop’s participation in the election has been commended by many Nigerians, who view him as a role model and a respected voice in the country.

Meanwhile, the election process has been generally peaceful in Ogun State, with reports of voter turnout being impressive in some areas. Security agencies have also been on high alert to ensure that the election is conducted without any incidents of violence or electoral malpractice.

As the election continues across the country, Nigerians are hoping for a transparent and credible process that would lead to the emergence of leaders who would work towards the growth and development of the country.
