Manchester United’s star player Antony finds himself under fire after being accused of domestic violence and threats.
According to a police report filed by Brazilian DJ and influencer Gabriela Cavallin on Monday, the footballer is alleged to have assaulted and threatened her.
The report was filed at the 5th Police Station for the Defense of Women – East, in Tatuapé.
The defense and representatives of the player have yet to make a statement on the allegations.
In the police report, Cavallin states that the assault occurred in May. She has requested an urgent protective order and forensic examination. The document includes photographs of abrasions and threatening messages allegedly from Antony.
Antony, a rising star in the world of football, was first recognised by São Paulo in 2018, before being sold to Ajax, Netherlands in 2020.
He made his move to Manchester United in 2022 for an impressive €100 million (R$504 million), marking one of the biggest purchases in the club’s history.
Antony and Cavallin have been in a relationship for the past year. In July, Cavallin disclosed on her social media platforms that she had experienced a miscarriage of a baby they were expecting.

The São Paulo Public Security Secretariat confirmed on Tuesday morning that an investigation into the alleged aggression is underway.
The case, which involves charges of domestic violence, threat, and bodily injury, is being closely investigated.
