Burna Boy is set to begin the North American leg of its “One Night in Space” tour by making history with its sold-out show in New York City on Thursday.
Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, is the first Nigerian to sell out and perform at Madison Square Garden, the world’s most famous arena, which has a seating capacity of 19,738 and includes 540 club seats and 89 luxury suites.
Over the years, renowned musicians such as Justin Bieber, Beyonce, and Billy Joel have performed there, making it a landmark venue for pop performances.
Burna Boy and his blessed band will perform in front of about 25,000 fans on Thursday, April 28 at the Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Burna Boy earned a whopping $2.5 million from ticket sales.
Burna Boy will be hosting a livestream on YouTube starting at 9 p.m. ET on Thursday to celebrate the sold-out show.
