Coronavirus: Angry Muslim Youth Burn Police Station Over Stay-At-Home Order

For what Mandy News gathered in the video sighted on social media, the youth were protesting that Police prevented them from observing their prayers on Friday (ṣalāt), in compliance with the state government directive on checking the spread of COVID-19.

In another video sighted on social media, the group can be seen chanting…Mallam said ‘no corona and we say no corona’.

At the time of this report, more than 50 people have been arrested in the state in Nothern Nigeria.
