Coup In Mali: President Keita Arrested By Mutinying Soldiers

The coup leaders in Mali said they have arrested President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita and Prime Minister Cisse Soumeylou Boubèye Maïga over insecurity.

According to the report, a military official said the president and prime minister were in an armoured vehicle en route to Kati.

At the time of this report, the citizens of Mali are celebrating after massive protests have been held against the Government for months over insecurity.
