Sir David Osagie, a Nollywood actor, died in his sleep after participating in a movie shoot Tuesday and going back to rest, Nigerian actress said.
The 52-year-old actor’s sudden, unexpected, and peaceful death shows that there’s nothing in this world to fight about, Ngozi Ezeh said in an Instagram post.
When Osagie’s death was revealed on Wednesday afternoon, no cause was given by his family or friends.
“Good morning, fam. I hate to say this, but we have lost another Nollywood king, Sir David. He wasn’t sick, it just happened. How do we explain this, another loss in Nollywood? Oh Lord have mercy. Rest in peace, Sir Dave. I moan again. Oh, I mourn. Oh, this life shall. It’s all but once. Nothing worth fighting or killing for,” the actor’s colleague Ngozi Ezeh wrote on Instagram.
Sir David Osagie is a popular and legendary Nollywood actor, scriptwriter, producer, and professional talent developer. His full name is Osagie Ogbeosamudia. He is well recognized for portraying a king or an elderly kingsman in most movies.
In acting and the interpretation of movie parts, he is extremely gifted, skilled, creative, and talented. He is quite good at interpreting his roles and can fit into any character offered to him by Nigerian film directors and producers.
Sir David Osagie was a screenwriter and producer who worked in the film industry. He was also the President and Chairman of Deltabond Media Concept Ltd., as well as the Deltabond Firm house and studio, in addition to acting.
He has been in a number of films since his debut, and has appeared with some of Nollywood’s most well-known actors and actresses.
