Davido (born David Adedeji Adeleke on November 21, 1992) is a Nigerian-American singer, songwriter, record producer, philanthropist, and label owner. He is the son of a Nigerian billionaire, business magnate, and president of Adeleke University, Adedeji Adeleke. Davido was named Instagram’s most followed celebrity in Africa in 2021 as well as a PUMA global brand ambassador in 2021. He was the RIAA’s top certified artist in Africa in 2021, and his hit song “Fall” became the best-selling Afrobeat song of all time.
