Davido is back and better than ever, following his Champion sound with a brand new single titled “Stand Strong”, which enlists the help of Kanye West’s Sunday Choir, The Samples Choir.
“Stand Strong” is his first single from his upcoming fifth studio album, and he announced its release on Instagram on Wednesday with a clip from the music video.
On May 11, artiste manager and AnR executive, Bankulli, talked on Twitter about what happened before the song was recorded. “After 3 canceled flights on the same day, somehow we showed up in LA with Jasonwhiteco and The Samples family on ground waiting-I believed at some point the spirit of God showed up at that session. “Standstrong is a beautiful song by Davido.”
