Davido sold out the 2022 O2 arena concert at the O2 entertainment complex on the Greenwich Peninsula in southeast London, but it seems that wasn’t enough. He broke the record for the most viewed concert at the O2 by a Nigerian.

The show aired on UDUX, a music store and streaming service platform, and attracted 718,368 total viewers. That’s more than Wizkid’s 250,000 from O2 Arena 2021, which was broadcast free, unlike the 1,000 naira fee paid by Davido’s viewers.

The Afropop superstar dominated the stage alongside talented musicians from across the African continent, earning himself Belizean citizenship that night.

The Wizkid 2021 o2 arena, which saw Chris Brown and other great talent from Ghana and Nigeria, attracted 250,000 viewers, despite being sold out for three nights.

“A record breaking 718,368 fans tuned in our livestream of Davido’s concert at the O2 arena. It was truly a night we’ll never forget,” the streaming platform UDUX said.
