More than 7900 doctors have volunteered to help Italy tackles the Coronavirus COVID-19 after the Minister for Regional Affairs and Autonomies Francesco Boccia launched the operation “civil protection doctors” on Saturday, March 21.
According to the Civil Protection Department over 7900 applications have been collected and will be evaluated in the next few hours.

“In the 24 hours in which it was possible to fill in the dedicated online form, the Department collected over 7900 applications which will be evaluated in the next few hours.”
