Controversial Reverend FatherEjike Camillus Anthony Mbaka recently criticized Labour Party presidential candidate Mr. Peter Obi for not being wasteful, insisting that Obi “refuses to donate to the church should not be the president.”
Mbaka, who had earlier slammed Peter Obi’s character for refusing to donate money during a bazaar, told members of his church that Peter is “stingy” and that he would rather have a generous old presidency than him.
“It is better to have a president who is a gifted old man than a young man with ‘gum’ hands. Peter Obi has a mouthful, he has nowhere to go unless he kneels on the Adoration altar,”Mbaka said during a prayer service at his church on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, according to a video posted by Ugo Maduagwu on Wednesday.
According to Father Mbaka, anyone who does not contribute to the church should not be elected president.
Peter Obi would only be elected president of Nigeria if he kneels at the Adoration altar, according to the Catholic priest.
Peter Obi has a mouthful, he has “nowhere to go unless he kneels on the Adoration altar,” he said.
Mbaka also stated that he assisted Peter Obi in his election as governor of Anambra State, but that “he did not come to appreciate God.”
Peter Obi was also chastised by Mbaka for defecting from APGA to the PDP and then back to the Labour Party.
